We have the duty to go on and follow the example from the words and task that we inherit from Pablo González Casanova. His years of struggle, his thoughts and theoretical treasure, provide life for our generation and for the ones to come. A warrior with both feet well set on the ground, on his soil and on the soil of the peoples from whom he gathered knowledge and praxis for morality and lights, inclusive and including, in all our militance. He is founder of the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity; and there he will always a main role as a guide in the battle against all forms of exploitation. We have been benefitted from his battles. In the same way as he did; without getting tired and without surrendering, we learned that we should fight and love, as he like to insist saying, in the struggle for freedom, justice and democracy, that is to say, for life itself. Coherence. Pablo González´s Latin American dimension is the dimension of his struggle.
With Pablo González Casanova everything is debt, but the kind of debt that one would always keep because they would enrich you, debts that are not to be paid back, and you should be grateful for that; debts that are from the heart scenting reason with concrete and revolutionary examples. For many years we have been privileged by his figure and his moral of struggle, always set to criticize power and in passion for truth defending the oppressed. Don Pablo nurtured an intellectual work for humanity and we are grateful for that, indebted to him, because it always helps us to work for the enrichment of the more dynamic values and traditions of the struggling peoples. Everything is commitment.
